The House

My own house has been an ongoing project for the past 5 years. It has evolved as my children have grown, their needs have changed and as our budget has allowed.

I have been asked to describe my own personal style and I suppose I would say that I am hugely influenced by Scandinavian design which I can’t resist to embellish and add a touch of colour and pattern to.

As we have taken our time on the project, we have really come to understand the building, how best to use the space and how to maximise natural light. As a result walls have gradually come down, storage has been built and windows and doors have been enlarged.

I am proud to have had my house featured in Marie Claire Maison, Ideal Home, Mad About the House blog and soon to be part of the Made.com house tours.
