The clients requested a room that was serene, relaxing and calm. A place they could escape to at the end of a hectic day.

The typical, loft-shaped room with sloping ceilings dictated the layout for the room and a row of wardrobes were built along the back wall.

The walls, ceiling, wardrobe doors, were all painted in the same, nude plaster colour. Such a soft, neutral palate allowed for a play with some accents and a dark green, luxuriously velvet padded headboard was made. The two end panels of which have been designed to fold down and create bedside tables with hidden storage behind. A clever use of leather detailing was used for the table hinges to match the leather wardrobe handles.

A beautiful bespoke large rug adds a burst of colour and pattern with carefully chosen colours to tie in with the scheme.
